Helen Frances (Honan) Gorham of Cape Elizabeth, Cumberland County, ME was born on August 6, 1918 in Portland to Ellen Theresa (Brogan) Honan and Martin Matthew Honan. She had siblings Martin Matthew Honan, John Joseph Honan, James Edward Honan, Margaret Mary (Honan) Marshall, and Robert Andrew V. Honan. She married John Stephen Gorham on October 29, and they were married until John's death in January 1968. She had children Margaret Ellen (Gorham) Mccabe, John Stephen Gorham Jr, Mary Beth (Gorham) Benoit, Jo-Ann (Gorham), Robert G. Gorham, Paul K. Gorham, and Kathryn Ann (Gorham) Connelly. Helen Gorham died at age 78 years old on April 20, 1997 in Cape Elizabeth.
