Saul Quintero Villarreal was born on October 9, 1915 in Panama to parents Venancio Villareal and Esther Quintero de Villarreal. He had a brother named Medardo Quintero Villarreal (1905-).
He married Alma (Arguello) Villarreal (1935 - 1995) on September 10, 1960 in San Francisco, California and had two daughters, Ileana (Villarreal) Meraz and Itzel (Villarreal) Falk.
Saul was an engineer and worked at the Bechtel Power Corporation in San Francisco, CA. He had a deep passion for sports, particularly boxing and wrestling. He was a devoted fan of the San Francisco 49ers and cherished the experience of attending wrestling matches alongside his daughter and son-in-law.
