I was being bullied by a multi-millionaire ex-husband.
A rich lawyer came into court and mentioned his country club. He said my daughter was sent to his house dirty and tattered.
She was wearing a hand-woven dress lined in silk ($75) and his wife photographed her and dated the photo, The woman who had woven the dress was in court! I had that dress with me! I had the photo. The man's wife was a FAMILY COURT JUDGE too.
Judge Potoker looked at the photo and saw my daughter's dress. Then he stood up in a rage and said to the lawyer, "I don't give a s*** what country club you belong to, I could have you put in jail for perjury! How dare your wife send you into my court to lie when she sent a little girl back to her junkie parents and they threw her off of a bridge. This woman is a good mother. If this dress were bigger, Jackie Kennedy would wear it! Get the hell out of my courtroom!" I will always treasure Judge M. Michael Potaker. The young man who won my case is now 81 years old and my Facebook friend.
My ex-husband died years ago, and not one person went to his funeral.

For fifty years I have been a Document Examiner and that is how I earn my living. For over 50 years I have also been a publicist for actors, singers, writers, composers, artists, comedians, and many progressive non-profit organizations. I am a Librettist-Composer of a Broadway musical called, "Nellie Bly" and I am in the process of making small changes to it. In addition, I have written over 100 songs that would be considered "popular music" in the genre of THE AMERICAN SONGBOOK.
My family consists of four branches. The Norwegians and The Italians and the Norwegian-Americans and the Italian Americans.
