Just someone grateful for their roots and wanting to bequeath their own origins to future generation. My paternal family traces its origins back to my great-grandfather's father from the medieaval and very picturesque commune of Mondavio, located in the Apennines of central Italy. We are also said to have origins in Bologna , where the family name Sartini came from. The sons of Silvestro Sartini and Elisa Fongoli (she from Foligno) migrated to different parts of Italy from the center to the north and south, some of their children and grandchildren have also moved away from their hometowns. .They married wives from different locations on the peninsula, establishing roots in the areas to which they migrated, Some also immigrated to the USA and Brazil, my country, as happened with my paternal grandparents and their children. In particular, my great-grandfather, Dante, a highly sought-after watchmaker, lived between Milan and Switzerlan. I also have Austrian origins on my parternal grand-mother side. Due the dissolution of the Habsburg Empire, some Austrian-Hungarian relativies immigrated to Argentina in South America. By my mother's side ancestors Rodrigues Magina are from Nespereira, a village under the parish of Cinfães, northern Portugal, where my maternal grandfather was born, who immigrated to Brazil, and my maternal grandmother, also Portuguese, whose family was Boaventura under the parish of São Vicente, Madeira Island, she came as a baby with her immigrant parents to Belém, in northern Brazil.
