Jacob Orth

I've "rescued" an old photograph of Jacob ORTH which was taken at the Eppert & Son Studio in Terre Haute, IN sometime in the 1880's or early 1890's. Jacob appears to be in his 40's or 50's at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding Jacob and his family:

Jacob Stern ORTH was b. 1 May 1843 in Warren Co., OH to parents Lewis ORTH (b. 1803 in Baden Wurttenburg, Germany-d. 1877) and Mary Catherine STAMM (b. 1819 in Bayern, Germany- d. 1880). Jacob was one of 13 children born to this couple including, Mary Elizabeth; Jacob Stern; Phobe or Phebe; Caroline; William; Jeanette; Lewis M.; Eliza; Peter; Charles; James Abraham; Emma G.; and John ORTH, all born between 1840 and 1865. Jacob married Lucy Ellen WITHAM or WITHERN (1845-1920) and together they had three children including, Frank Lewis; Frederick Jacob; and Charles Wilbur ORTH, all born between 1874 and 1880.

Jacob died 5 Feb 1908 in Indianapolis, IN or Otter Creek, IN and he is buried in the Highland Lawn Cemetery in Terre Haute, IN.
