Go to Ancestry.com and run a plain search .James Aitchison,no birth place ,born 1808,only. Seems that he is an immigrant from Canada,England or Scotland.There are 2 pictures of this person/a person
He emigrated from Scotland and settled in Iowa with his younger son William.
I checked the photos and they are of two other James Aitchisons. My one died in 1888.
