James W. Anderson, 78, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 6:45 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2011 at his residence in Jasonville, IN. He was born December 27, 1932 in Jasonville, IN to Harry Anderson and Ruth (White) Anderson. Survivors include daughter Cheryl Cullison of Bloomfield, IN; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael W. & Brenda Anderson of Jasonville, IN and Mark & Ellen Anderson of Bloomfield, IN; grandchildren, Shannon & Ruth Anderson; Leslie & Joe Summerville, Chad & Monica Cullison, Zachary Zoellner, Alisha Zoellner, Theresa & Ed Boyd, Scott & Rebecca Kirkpatrick; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Jean VanMeertin, Betty Ginter, Frances Bennett, and brother, Clyde Anderson. James proudly served as an Army veteran in the Korean War. He retired from Shakamak State Park after 20 years of service in Park Maintenance. James was a wonderful father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed fishing on the river at the cabin, and mushroom hunting.
