John C. MYERS
I have in my possession an old photograph of John C. MYERS which was taken at the Smith & Dryer Studio in Indianapolis, IN in the 1880’s sometime. John appears to be about 12 years old at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding John and his family:

John Carroll MYERS was born about 1872 in Indianapolis, IN to parents Erasmus MYERS (1844-1885) and Barbara S. CORRELL (1851-1929). John was one of four children born to this couple including John Carroll; Sarah E. “Bessie”; Orville H.; and Dersie A. MYERS, all born between 1872 and 1882. John married Stella Bertha HAZEN ROWE HUNTER (1879-1935) in 1920 and he died 12 Dec 1942 in Cleveland, OH and is buried in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN. John was survived by a daughter Mrs. Helen SMITH of Waukegan, IL, and a brother O. H. MYERS of Indianapolis, IN.

I am hoping to return the photograph to a family member and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.

Thanks,
Shelley
Date & Place: at Smith & Dryer Studio in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana United States
