John Francis Beecher was born on February 8, 1898 in Boston, Massachusetts United States to Alice Bridget (O'hehir) Beecher and Michael John Beecher, and had siblings Helen Alberta (Beecher) Bride, Mary Eleanor Beecher, James Anthony Beecher, and Joseph Henry Beecher. He married Katherine M. (Barry) Beecher, and they had children James Arnold Beecher and Ann Marie Beecher. He would also marry Elgena Sofia (Johnson) Beecher on September 21, 1944, and they were married until John's death on July 1, 1979.
