John Riley McMillen
Private John Riley McMillen, Company F, 40th Kentucky Mounted Infantry, Union Army, Civil War.
He was born in Pendleton County, Kentucky, the son of Robert W. McMillen and Martha Elizabeth Fornash. John was the grandson of James Brooking McMillen of Pendleton County, Kentucky.
After the Civil War, John married Charity Race, dau. of Lawson Race and Phoebe Hawkins.
John Riley McMillen died in 1927 and is buried at Falmouth, Kentucky.
