Jon Springhart
Jon was the youngest child of Earl Edward and Margaret June Yates Springhart. He had three older brothers, Bill, Terry & Kevin. He had one sister, me, Paula. Jon was such a sweet, kind, loving, gentle, helpful soul. He helped anyone he could. He loved with all his heart. He truly loved playing his drums. He was very good too. He had two very close friends, I referred to them as the “three musketeers”. Bob, whom everyone called “squirrel” and Freddy. They were best friends. Jon loved his family so very much. He was my best friend. We spent a lot of time together. He stood up, with our mother, for me & my husband when we married. That night we went to KFC and bought three 3 piece chicken dinners then headed over to N. Dixie Dr to watch a move at the drive-in theater, we watched “Kelly’s Heroes”. How romantic, right? My Husband and Jon were very close too, they were like brothers.
