Joyce E. Abrell left this world on April 2, 2007, to become an angel in heaven to watch over us all. Formerly of Toledo, Ohio, Joyce and her loving soul mate, James, retired to Apache Junction, Arizona. Joyce loved and was loved by everyone whose life she touched. She loved her photo albums, her memories. She loved all of her children and grandchildren. Joyce and loving husband, Jim were inseparable partners in life. Together they started and owned Jim's Garage in Erie, Michigan, for many years. She was a lifetime member of V.F.W. Post 3265. Survived by her loving life partner, James W. Abrell; children, Robert (Becky) Hoffman, Darlene (Frank) Dieball, Dawn (Daniel) Howard, Denise Payton (Danny), Michael (Darlene) Abrell, James (Chris) Abrell, Deb (Lynn) Olinger, Sue (Bob) Dickinson, Denise (John) Freeman, Eugene (Michele) Abrell; brothers, Marvin and Dick Emahiser, Dent Williams, and sister, Darlene Subleski; 22 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren and many extended family. She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Trey and Christopher and other family members. Friends may call at the Boyer-VanWormer-Scott Funeral Home, 5055 Secor Rd. (N. of Laskey Rd.) from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2007, where services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. Officiating, Rev. Loran L. Miracle. Entombment Restlawn Memorial Park. Family suggests tributes in form of contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or the V.F.W. Post #3265.
