I was born in Winchester, Hampshire in 1966. I grew up in Andover, where I lived until my late teens. I got my Degree in Typographic Design from Exeter and moved to London, where I worked for 3 years. A PGCE course bought me to Leicester where I returned to Graphic Design and settled. Married in Leicester in 1996 and had my first daughter in 1998. A son followed in 2004 and another daughter in 2006. My father was born Michael Roy Wilmott in 1934 in Hackney, East London but his adoptive parents changed his name to John Edward Jennings. Nothing is known about his father apart from the name Scott but whether this is a christian or surname is unclear. He was raised in and around Hampshire. My mother was born in Edinburgh in 1939 with the name Marion Gibson McIvor Murray. Her mothers maiden name was Robinson, of Scotich decent. Her father Walter Whyte Murray was believed to originate from Ireland.
