It is known that Arth Kendal and Arthur Kendall are the same person. Serious clerical error on his death being reported, could be the unique way our father wrote cursive. Unknown as to why he got his SSN card in NY, we just don't know. Dad was a foster child during the Great Depression. He was a farm hand, head cook at UMass Amherst and a cabbie. Loved to read - Science Fiction and mysteries. He loved fishing. He has fished Lake Champlain and every inch of the Quabbin Reservoir. When I was young, he usually fished with a wooden block, a long piece of elastic band, a railroad spike and hooks. He loved his family and any occasion that involved family, we were at it. We spent a lot of time at my uncles (Our mother's brothers) homes when we were kids. As a matter of fact, I recently learned that my father and our Uncle Ralph were friends and that is how our parents met😊❤️. I dimly remember holidays at our uncles homes. Our entire family loved Thanksgiving & Christmas together, always fun & magical ❤️. Family picnics at Groff Park, Memorial Day picnics at a swimming pool park on Triangle St. A Pittsley family reunion in New Bedford (Mom was a Pittsley).
