Kyle Andrews and John (Jack) Pauley

This is me with my Great Uncle Jack in June of 1972. The photo was taken by my Grandmother, who teased us by saying, "I'm his Sister, and he never wanted any pictures taken with me." I adored Uncle John and was very sad when he died less than a year after this photo was taken.

John was born in 1901, and was a daredevil and a protective Brother and Son after the death of his Father. A fireworks accident blinded him in one eye, but he was an excellent hunter, fisherman, and worked for years as a telephone lineman. He also was proud to have fought in Europe during World War II. He was a very caring Uncle and Brother.
