My father. He was from Kentucky originally. His parents were Cora Bailey and Samuel Hanley. My father was a professional truck driver and a Teamster for over 38 years. He was also a Veteran and served in the Army. My father lived with me for 4 1/2 years before his passing in 2009. He had 4 sisters and 2 brothers. He had 5 children as well. His hobbies included working on cars and trucks doing paint and body repair and he also owned several semi tractor trailers with drivers working for him hauling juice and produce out of Florida and Georgia. His CB handle was “Canonball”. His friends knew him as LB from Memphis TN. He was a very nurturing soul and never let a kid go without. He loved country music and traveling in his off-time in to visit his family and go fishing with friends and enjoy an old cold beer. He was a simple man, enjoyed a good home cooking, his family, fast cars, good trucks, respectful children, good jokes, and great stories among friends and family.
