Lauren Danielle Wadsworth was born to Michael Ray Wadsworth and Karen Lee Bauder. She had myasthenia gravis disease since she was a child - she was only 8 years old when she was diagnosed. She died after a heroic fight until MG took her life in 2011. To understand the circumstances surrounding her illness, see Lauren D Wadsworth: Personal Life. Lauren is best remembered by the book she wrote, Giraffe Girl, about her struggles with her illness.
