I’m currently 57 years old as of August, 2022. I was born October 8, 1964 in Duluth, Minnesota at Saint Luke’s Hospital. I graduated from Cloquet Senior High School, Cloquet, Minnesota in 1983. I was in the United States Navy for 8 years 1988-1996. I worked as an Aircraft Structural Mechanic and also as a Naval Aircrewman during those years. As a Naval aircrewman, I was a Reel Operator on both the Lockheed Martin EC 130 Q, and the Boeing E6A. I was a part of the U.S. Navy’s Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron VQ3 (TACAMO). We served as a communications platform to our submarine fleet in the Pacific Ocean Basin. I was honorably discharged as a petty officer second class (naval aircrewman) AMS2 in 1996. I then transferred back to civilian life as a maintenance planner for Dow Chemical in Edina, Minnesota from 1996-1998. That same year I took a position with Marvin Windows and Doors, a major wood window and door manufacturer in Warroad, Minnesota as a Tour Instructor and a marketing Product Planner. I returned to college at MSUM, Moorhead from 2010 to 2011. In 2011 I won the U.S. Department of State Gillman Scholarship and spent my Spring 2011 semester as a student of Medieval Studies at the University of Oxford in Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. That was the proudest honor of my life. I traveled to Scotland’s Isle of Skye during Easter Break. After my studies at Oxford were completed I traveled to Paris, France, Lucerne, Switzerland, and Florence Italy by coach (touring bus). Upon my return to the United States, I took a position as a commercial photographer for Scherling Photography in Fargo, North Dakota. I was afforded the opportunity to set up a new branch of Scherling Photography in Washington D.C. as well. In 2012 I became disabled do to medical complications received as a result of my service in the United States Navy. I currently live alone in Wells, Minnesota.
I was born the fifth of six in birth order. My father is Leslie Arthur Lang(e). My mother is Annabelle Mae Halverson Lang (Moilanen). Both are now deceased. I have two 1/2 brothers: Robert and Ronald Lange. I also have two 1/2 sisters, Diana (now deceased) and Wendy Jones. I also have three biological sisters: Shari Harder Lang, Carrie Lewis Lang, and Kathleen Martinez Lang.
