Public records indicate that Ernesto lived on NE 162nd St, SW 109th Ave and SW 12th St in Miami FL. On Friday, April 23, 2010, the Miami New Times reported the following; "Monday (April 19) a 45-year-old career criminal named Ernesto Puentes washed up dead under the Rickenbacker. Puentes has multiple felony charges on his record dating back to 1992 and five convictions for armed burglary and kidnapping. Police are investigating his case as a homicide." Although Ernesto Puentes didn't have an education and was a single father, according to someone who knew him, he did his best with the limitations of his life and she describes him as a kind, loving human being.
