He was a good father of 2 boys that he struggled with to provide for alone with no family support what so ever ..he had a terrible child hood and he wasn't a violent person and his past record was him mixed up with the wrong poeple and not having a father ever and served child abuse from unloving guardian that hated and verbally expressed it every times she saw him .. yet he mad bad choices in the past and followed the only others whom paid attention to him for the first time in his life ...he was able to ride above it to raise his boy in a positive loving and protective manner as much as possible..with a record no education and no support he did his best ...but boys mother was not in volved she was into drugs and would use the kids to get what she wanted and he was from Cuba ..so all that siad him and the boys had each other and he never gave up or lost his temper or did his best with what his construction job had to offer him. Really was a special person . Really was a giving ,loving ,gentle , kind, honest , respectful,down to earth, open minded , trust worthy, funny,just straight forward not b.s. kinda of guy...very smart and considerate, passionate, understanding , hard worker and loved women and he was the nice guy that was the most unlucky person that let his heart take over with out using his head ..he didn't have a normal relationship at all with his mother and boy that have bad relationships with there mothers have bad marriages in there future.so he was alone and didn't mind as long as he had his boys . Looking back I still don't get how he managed to be ok no matter what I think he thought love was enough I wish he has the chance to be a part of the boys life's he love so much ... If I ever get the chance to tell his boys how much he loved and cared for them with no experience and any help..so sorry about his life was important to everybody that got a chance to know him . I hope the boys remember him and not what the read or hear because they where old enough to remember and feel his love that still there forever !! Love you Ernesto thanx for saving my life ! The boys love and miss you and my friends are my family I'm your family too sorry I didn't get the chance to say good bye ... Love you buddy !! If I wasn't 4000 miles away I'd look for the boys I loved babysitting.. we had a blast for a whole year ...love you guys. .so sad . Bye ..

Ernesto Armando Puentes Oct 30, 1964 - Apr 19, 2010 Miami, Florida

Public records indicate that Ernesto lived on NE 162nd St, SW 109th Ave and SW 12th St in Miami FL. On Friday, April 23, 2010, the Miami New Times reported the following; "Monday (April 19) a 45-year-old career criminal named Ernesto Puentes washed up dead under the Rickenbacker. Puentes has multiple felony charges on his record dating back to 1992 and five convictions for armed burglary and kidnapping. Police are investigating his case as a homicide." Although Ernesto Puentes didn't have an education and was a single father, according to someone who knew him he did his best with the limitations of his life. UPDATE: As of May of 2025, there are no further updates on the death of Ernesto.
