Lucy Rachael (Richardson) Aherron was born on March 10, 1871 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia United States to George Thomas Richardson and Amanda Jane (Payne) Richardson, and had siblings Daniel Thomas Richardson, Amanda Sarah Richardson Gosney, Eliza Ann (Richardson) Yeaman, Julia Ellen (Richardson) Adams, Beverly Carter Richardson, Henry Lee Richardson, and Ruth Magdalene (Richardson) Ricketts.
