Ludvic "Lud" Henry Komers Grave, WI

My great-grandfather, Ludvic Henry "Lud" Komers, s/o Joseph & Anna (Kolman) Komers of Muscoda, WI, was born Jan. 1, 1871. He was the husband of Dor (Rue) Komers Krueger, d/o Charles Wesley & Grizella (McIlhattan) Rue of Orion, Grant Co, WI. Lud & Dor settled in Clark County, WI. Dor remarried to Julius Krueger of Spokeville, Clark Co, WI after "Lud's" death. He worked as a circus barker and traveled a great deal, and he was an alcoholic. He died on his 47th birthday, Jan. 1, 1918, of a ruptured heart.The family always said he died of a broken heart. He & Dor are both buried at West Spencer Cemetery, Spencer, Clark Co, WI.
