Mabel Ethel Wells had been adopted? Her original last name was Coolridge and was born in Hardwick,Vt and has brother Danforth Wells and a sister who was adopted buy another family in Vt her name was Leola Fisher? Fisher was her married name, did not know her adopted family’s name. Sadly she was adopted by one family in Vt? And Mabel and Danforth was adopted by Rev Wells and his wife and lived in St Cloud, Fl ? But luckily they kept in touch with their sister in Vt? Rev Wells was United Methodist Minister also? Think Mabel had met Charles H Ketchum throught her adopted father? Rev Charles H Ketchum Jr went to thelogly college at Kansas Wesley where he became minister? For he and Mabel had got married somewhere and he was Teacher in high school and a football coach and Mabel taught elementary they had lived in Key West, Fl where Charlie was from. They had Daughter Kathleen A Ketchum and few years later moved to Kansas for his ministry school. Their they had son called Charles David Ketchum who unfortunately at very young age, died of crib death. He buried out there and they eventually had another daughter named Judith Elizabeth Ketchum. Few years later they we think moved to St Petersburg,Fl and had another son named Charles Danforth Ketchum then 3,years later we think came back to Key West, Fl. He became a trouble shooting Minister so family suffered cause they ended up moving a lot ? So kids did not have stable life? Eventually they lived on Lookout Mountain in Georgia. Then unfortunately he transferred to Okeechobee County, Fl and that where son Danny life got ruined buy getting mixed up with girl who let her self get pregnant and had kid? And he unfortunately gave up football scholarship to UF and joined Navy and after boot camp in Orlando, Fl got shipped to Vietnam? Few years later they were divorced which was good? Then after 7 yrs he got out of Navy cause the next wife Danny got involved with was wild and caused him lots problems? Eventually they were luckily divorced? He had various jobs and moved to Jax, Fl where he finally met love of his life Carol A.Randall and stayed married 37 yrs. Kathy didn’t marry till late and married John Bolschi from Pottsville,Pa and they had daughter Kimberly Bolschi but eventually they divorced and he was Navy guy? Judy was married for few years to some guy and they divorced and she met up on mountain in ga a guy name Gary A Smith and they had 3 daughters Donna, Lynn and Kerri and he was navy guy too! They lived in Jax, Fl till he retired and moved to his home state of Tennessee. Judy died of diabetes, and few other illnesses and Kathryn moved their and she to died of cancer? And Charles H ketchum had after Mabel two more wife’s and he died in Jax, Fl and sadly is buried with 3rd wife Lois? Poor Mabel is buried in Big Coppitt, Fl in grave all alone? She wanted to be buried in Jax, Fl but he didn’t let her? But her sister in law and Brother in law Eva Mae and Earl Yates are buried next to her. She has 4 grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Rest In Peace Momma

I'm a Founder of AncientFaces and support the community answering questions & helping members make connections to the past (thus my official title of Founder & Content and Community Support ). For me, it's been a labor of love for over 20 years. I truly believe with all of my heart that everyone should be remembered for generations to come. I am 2nd generation San Jose and have seen a lot of changes in the area while growing up. We used to be known as the "Valley of Heart's Delight" (because the Valley was covered with orchards and there were many canneries to process the food grown here, which shipped all over the US) - now we have adopted the nickname "Capital of Silicon Valley" and Apple, Ebay, Adobe, Netflix, Facebook, and many more tech companies are within a few miles of my current home in San Jose (including AncientFaces). From a small town of 25,000, we have grown to 1 million plus. And when you add in all of the communities surrounding us (for instance, Saratoga, where I attended high school, living a block from our previous Mayor), we are truly one of the big cities in the US. I am so very proud of my hometown. For more information see Kathy - Founder & Content and Community Director
My family began AncientFaces because we believe that unique photos and stories that show who people are/were should be shared with the world.
