this photo is one of several that my grandfather gave my mother years ago ,but she was never told who they were it is possible it could be my great-grandmother as she looks very much like my mother ,my grandfather Ernest Augutus Martens was born 1860 in Hamburgh Germany , he came to England and married my grandmother Fanny Pettengale 1891 at Battersea ,London, because he married an english lady his family disowned him[this is what my mother was told] if any one can recognize or see any resemblance in ther family would. love to hear from you regards May
