Martin Alfred Enderwitz
Martin was a German paratrooper, captured in the Ardenne, by American forces during the second world war. Transported initially to the USA he then was shipped back to Scotland, after thye war. He stayed there, rather than returning to Germany , as his family was now split between East and West Germany and he had met and married Alice Turner, while working on the farm where she had been evacuated to.
