Maxine Joy (Amelang) Long

Maxine Joy (Amelang) Sparlin-Long of Montrose, Montrose County, CO was born on September 25, 1942 in Edgewater, Jefferson County to Albert Edward Amelang and Relmah Inez Smith Amelang. Maxine Sparlin-Long has siblings Larry David Amelang, Chester Douglas Amelang, Robert Lee Amelang, Audrey Delight (Amelang) Burrows, Roy Albert Amelang, and Fairy Dawn Amelang. She married Robert Joseph Sparlin on December 27, 1960 and they later divorced on November 23, 1981. They had children Shane S Sparlin, Wendy Gale (Sparlin) Willis, and Jim Gabe Sparlin. She would also marry Harold Francis Long on November 26, 1981, and they were married until Harold's death on May 1, 2016.
