Minnie Conway (1852-1896) stage actress was born Marianne Conway in New York. Her parents Frederick Bartlett Conway (1819-1874) and Sarah Gilbert Crocker (1833-1875) were both actors. Her grandfather was stage actor William Augustus Conway (1789-1828). She married Jules Levy (1838-1903) in 1875 and then married Osmond Tearle (1852-1901) in 1883. A son from her first marriage was stage and screen actor Conway Tearle (1878-1938). She died in Carlisle, Cumberland, England.
