Minnie Edith Brown
This is my great grandmother Minnie Edith Brown 1877-1914 who lived in Cleveland, OH and Detroit, MI. She was a teacher, an accomplished painter, a suffragette, and sued the Cleveland Normal School for the right to continue her education and won. She died too young from TB leaving a husband, Henry Fortain and two young daughters, Rhea and Doris.
