GLENN ALLEN MARTIN
Glenn was born October 5, 1938, to Nina Melissa McKinney, Martin and Truman Allen Martin, in Virginia, USA. Glenn was the oldest of then 10 children. Glenn was a US. Army Vet (not sure on dates. They have not released his information as of yet in Nation Archives.) if guessing the years he served were sometime after 1955. Which would be just about the time the Vietnam Conflict began. Was able to get his service confirmed, just no dates. Glenn married Dorothy Willene King, October 28, 1959, in Idaho. They had 1 daughter together. Her name is Toni Melissa Martin, Stiles. Glenn and Dorothy divorced in 1968. Glenn met and married Sonya Collins, October 23, 1971, they had 1 Son, Michael Martin, and 1 daughter, Rachel Martin Woodward (Woodard(?)). Glenn lived in Virginia, most all his life. Glenn passed away in his home May 5, 2021, at the age of 82. Glenn had a total of 6 sisters and 5 Brothers:(Patricia F Martin, Schieb(D); Carol Ann Martin, Strolle; Rita Irene Martin, Lemon; Martha Catherine Martin, LaValle; Karen Rebecca Martin, Leilert; Gretta Martin, McKnight; David Clifford Martin; Truman Franklyn Martin; Michael Lynn Martin; Herbert Daniel Martin; and Melvin Wayne Martin. Glenn had 1 son and 2 daughters, and 2 Granddaughters, when he passed away. For years Glenn was the "Glue" that held the family together. Glenn was loved dearly, and well respected.

I love photography, and I love looking at old photo's because they tell a story. I am a Veteran of the U.S. Army, I am a mom and grandmother.
I am a descendant of the Mckinney's and the Martin's; both on my Maternal side. I really am not sure of my biological father's side because I have been told so many stories, I don't know what to believe, so I concentrate on what I do know. Taking a DNA test will hopefully reveal who my biological father's side of the family is. Time will tell....
