Throughout the 1940s and 1950s, she had numerous articles and poems published in American and Canadian magazines. In recent years she published "Loving Language: A Child Embraces Her Life Through Words" and "Gestalt Graphology," a collection of papers by her late second husband, Felix Klein.
She attended Bay Ridge High school and her principal was Elizabeth Tierney Fitzpatrick.
