Mr. Joe & Jessie Mack

Jessie Mae Mack was one of the greatest woman I have ever known. A Wonderful, Sweet, God Fearing Woman. Whose word was always her bond! She was one of the Hammond sisters from Anderson South Carolina. Her cooking was world-class! Whether it was exotic or good old down-home soul food. She always made everything with love fresh from scratch! I always had fun going places with her. She always made it a good time! :-)

Joe Mack was a good man! A strong religious, hard-working, tough man. He always said what he meant and meant what he said. He lost his left arm in a hunting accident in his youth. He only had his right arm and could do more then most man with two arms could do! The hardest working men I've ever known! I remember his favorite saying was, "Do the best you can with what you've got"! And he did!
