My Grand Parents
My Grandfather John Petropoulos came to the USA from Hatzi, Greece on the ship Canopic at age 19 in 1905 my Grandmother Penelope Tzeouvalis came from Kalamata, Greece to the USA at age 13 by herself in 1907. They had 7 children 6 girls and one boy my Father who was the last child born. Needless to say I miss them very much. During that time the mills were the biggest employers and there are still many of the old building left, being used for various enterprises.
