Mystery Italian Family Postcard #1
This is one of a set of 3 postcards (which appear to be written in Italian?) that feature the same Husband, wife and daughter over a span of time in the early 1900's. The progression seems to be 1-Happy Family, 2-Husband gets called to war, 3-Wife on her own with baby daughter!
Can anyone translate the Italian for me? It might provide clues. Be sure to check out all 3 shots.

Thanks to the brilliant italian-detective work of Jacque Tessadri McDonnell she was able to translate this card and remove some of its "Mystery Status". She states that the guy is Ruffino Salvatore. He is sending a picture to his father. It is a picture of his daughter Maria and Granddaughter. I finally got on he was writng around his signature. He must of wanted to add more to his note." Jacque also found that Ruffino Salvatore petitioned New York county supreme court- civil 29 jun 1920 for naturlization.
