Norman R. Fox of Broadalbin, Fulton County, New York. He was born in 1825 and died in 1908. He was the son of Chauncey & Anna (Sowle) Fox and through his mother's lineage could trace back to George Soule, passenger on the Mayflower of 1620. He was a Veteran of the Civil War having been a member of the 10th New York Cavalry. He survived the war with out any damage to his person. He was twice married, first to Mary More and second to Nancy Carpenter. He had one son named Edwin by his first wife and three daughters named Mary, Elizabeth & Sarah by his second wife. He never became a grandfather as none of his 4 children produced any children. All of his family are buried on the Norman R. Fox lot in the Broadalbin-Mayfied Rural Cemetery in Broadalbin, New York.
