Norman Vincent Dodson Norman Vincent Dodson, 52 years old, died on June 19, 2011 at Charleston Area Medical Center, Charleston, W.Va., following a brief illness. Norman was born on October 21, 1958 to the late Gilbert Sr. and Genorise Dodson in Bluefield, W. Va. He was a life-long resident of Bluefield, W.Va. and was blessed with the gift of art and cooking. He was a graduate of Bluefield High School and attended Bluefield State College for three years. He was a member of the Army Reserves and enjoyed placing a smile on everyone's face. In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by one daughter Leia; and a brother, Gilbert Jr. He leaves to cherish his loving memories one sister, Patrice Moore of Charleston, W. Va.; niece, Tracy Garrett of Charlotte, N.C.; great-niece, Chyna Jackson also of Charlotte; one brother, Alvin Osborne of Bowie, Md.; nephews, Marco Dodson of the U.S. Navy and Jabar Dodson of Winston-Salem, N.C.; and one son, Michael Paul of Morristown, Tenn. A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Chapel Funeral Home and Cremations, 13335 Bland Street, Bluefield, W.Va. with the Elder Anthony Howze officiating the service.
