Carmen Lucille Duebner was born Sept. 2, 1921, in Manitowoc, to parents Emil and Rose Werner Duebner. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Manitowoc with the class of 1939.
On April 14, 1940 she was married Robert W. Mlada and together they had three children; Thomas R. Mlada (1941-2020), Bonnie Mlada Wallen (1943-1985), and David Edward Mlada (1954-2008).
After Robert's death in 1984, she went on to marry again in May 1987, to Felix Veeser of Kewaunee. Carmen and Felix traveled extensively around the world until Felix passed away in November of 1996.
Carmen was a very talented musician and violinist. In her free time, Carmen enjoyed golf, bowling, dancing and was an avid fisherman. Carmen was employed in the office of Memorial Hospital of Manitowoc for 21 years.
