Peter Press Maravich

Professional Basketball Player. The greatest NCAA college basketball scorer in history, he was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1987. He played collegiately for his father, head coach Press Maravich, at Louisiana State University's Tigers team. He spent most of his professional career as a shooting guard with the Atlanta Hawks (1970 to 1974) and the New Orleans (now Utah) Jazz (1974 to 1980). He finished his NBA career with the Boston Celtics in 1980. He collapsed and died after playing in a pick-up basketball game in Pasadena, California.
