PFC Timothy Leonard Stophlet.

Tim's Basic Training Photo at Fort Benning, Georgia. He was later assigned to the 101st Abn Div. Fort Campbell, Kentucky. While training with his platoon in Panama, Tim was bitten by bats. The Army sent him back to Ft. Campbell for rabies treatment. In between treatment Tim road along in a private vehicle with two other soldiers. The vehicle was involved in a head-on crash resulting in the death of Tim and one other soldier. He was age 19 at the time of his death in 1983.
