Philip Matzinger

He was born abt 1831 in Pennsylvania. Civil War Units: 179th Regiment, PA Infantry, Co. I; Rich's Independent Co., PA Infantry (1863); and 95th Regiment, PA Infantry, Co. F. 1870 US census shows him living in Reading, PA, with his wife, Louise, and children, Joseph, Albert, and (looks like) Sallie. He was working as a machinist. The 1880 census has him living in Philadelphia, PA, as an Engineer, with his wife, Louise, and children, Joseph, Albert, and Ida.
