My name is Louis Ronald Prophete, I was born in Port Au Prince Haiti. Mother Alourde Regnier. Father Pierre Gerard Prophete. I migrated to Sterling Place, Brooklyn NY in 1965. Living with my mother Alourde and Step Dad Pierre Demetrius. We had an idea family life, I attended PS 9. After several years we moved to 346 East 28th Street Brooklyn NY in the Flatbush area, were I attended Huddle Jr High and Erasmus High School, Graduated from Westinghouse High School attended Queensborough community college, study Computer technology. My mother Alourde Regnier Demetrius graduated from college and became a nurse, working at Interfaith Hospital Brooklyn NY. My step dad Pierre Demetrius worked at Brooklyn Jewish Hospital until retirement. My dad Pierre Gerard Prophete worked at the Brooklyn Navy Yard as a shipfitter (building transport ships). His last employee The Grand Hyatt Hotel until his retirement. I am thankful for my upbringing, my family encouraged us to attend college and learn a trade to prepare for our future.
During my early years, I worked for the Bedford Stuyvesant Youth center, Brooklyn NY, Duro Finishing/Sanford textile Mills Empire State Bldg. Manhattan, NY.
In my adulthood until retirement at age 59 1/2 work for European American Bank/ABN Amro Bank/Citizens Bank/Royal Bank Of Scotland until retirement in 2016. I am grateful for my life journey.
