Raymond W. Brumaghim was the son of David & Roseltha (Brown) Brumaghim of Schoharie County, New York. Ray was born in the Town of Johnstown, Fulton County, New York on April 15, 1891 although his headstone shows his year of birth as 1892. Raymond Brumaghim married Verna Gertrude Peterson (1894-1965), my mother's first cousin. They were married November 29, 1919 by Rev. Roe R. Mitchell, pastor of the East Main St. Methodist Church in Amsterdam, Montgomery County, New York on a Saturday evening.They did not have any children. After Verna died cousin Raymond married a second wife whose name I do not remember.
