I am researching Carr/Kerr, Johnston, McDaniel/McDonald, Keever, Linn/Lynn and others. I am particularly looking for descendants of Henry and Hannah (Bryan) McDaniel, Jr. of Pittsylvania Co, VA, Monroe/Greenbrier Co, WV and Gallia Co, OH. I will soon be publishing a small book documenting Hannah (Bryan) McDaniel's relationship of 1st cousin once removed to President Lincoln.

My research of the McDaniel family goes back to 1804 when my Great-Great-Grandfather Josiah McDaniel (born 1804 in Randolph County, North Carolina)married Miriam Swofford (Swafford). He moved to Edgar County, Illinois somtime later.
