Richard Moore Bishop, Once Governor of Ohio

Once Mayor of Cincinnati and Governor of Ohio.

Gov. Bishop (4 Nov 1812-2 Mar 1893), was born in Fleming County, Kentucky, the son of George Bishop and Nancy Moore, and died 2 March 1893 in Jacksonville, Florida. On May 11, 1834, he married Mary Threlkeld (Jan 17, 1817-May 27, 1882).
