Conti Salvatore Rinaldi I The noble bloodline of the Rinaldi family moved from Italy to Sicily sometime in the 1700s, and, became land barons and producers of wine. By 1789 the Rinaldi family owned a grand home in Palermo (claimed to rival Villa Borghese in Rome) and thousand of acres outside of Palmero where their wine was produced.
