Born in San Diego, lived in Encanto, CA. until 1967 when we moved to El Cajon CA. In 1976 I was given the choice of a bus ticket to Portland OR or immediate incarceration for seven counts of eluding police. Really liked Portland. Worked as a mechanic until I could afford a Tow truck. Used it to haul scrap metal until I could afford to buy a wrecking yard. Also opened a Motorcycle dealership about the same time. Eventually forming a NHRA professional racing team, starting in Super Stock and moving up until we were running a Nitro Fuel Altered. My Partner passed away everything was liquidated and I retired shortly before discovering I had Cancer.
