A lovely kind and gentle man. Loving husband to Janie and father to Elizabeth (My Betty) and Margaret (Peggy). Janie never ever married or dated any other man and Elizabeth fondly told stories of her Dad taking his shoe laces from his boots to tie the endless amounts of bluebells she would pick to take home to Janie during their Sunday walk when she was a little girl. Robert died when Elizabeth was 12.
