Ronnie Pickel and Wilma Pickel

Ronnie ( daddy) was always giving and doing for others…He was always giving with a true servants heart… even in death he donated his body to science to try to help some type of medical cure for someone else.. He always took care of “ his girls”. When I, his oldest daughter ( Missy) started first grade my mom worked for TVA and stopped to drive a bus to be with me and my younger sister ( Marlena) and dad worked 2 jobs as a rate and bill clerk for two freight lines… but always was at every event we were in… as a child I didn’t think about these things but as an adult I realized he would take his lunch and not take breaks at work to be able to leave, come see us in our event and then go back to work… He was able to take 2 weeks vacation a year and he would always take us to Florida in a camper for 2 weeks… every year. I am sure there were things he wanted to do… he was an avid fisherman, hunter, and loved stock car races… but he always spent his vacations with us in a place we always wanted to go..
