Sallie Ann (Farley) Gentry was born on March 9, 1906 in Jefferson, Marengo County, Alabama United States to William Asberry and Cynthia Ann Meadows. She married William Talley Gentry on September 12, 1925, and they were married until Sallie's death on December 1, 1975. She had children Thomas Henry Gentry, William " Bill" Asberry Gentry, Jack Gentry, Cynthia Gentry, Ellor Gentry, Dorathy Gentry, and Allen Gentry. Sallie Gentry was buried in 1975 at Tidwell Cemetery 229 Tidwell Cemetary Rd, in Oneonta, Blount County.
