He has a scholastic ability seldom equaled among his classmates. His greatest brilliance is shown in mathematics, although his superiority in English may be shown in his debating ability. Although Sam has not been honored by any position in the class, he is respected by his classmates because of his ability. Outside of school we know little of his life, but if we listen carefully, we find that Sam occasionally touches the gay life. Be careful, Sam, and think before you leap.
