Daughter of James J. & Margaret C. A. (Shannon) Coverdell. Married George W. Wakefield. George and Sarah Coverdell Wakefield moved to Del Norte County, California about 1892, started several businesses there. One the Wakefield race track and another was a Photo shop that their son William Lester Wakefield cared for.
